Sea Scents

Brother Sol pours energy,

love and light,

into the placid blue,

limped ocean

The sea warms to mist and ozone,

I breathe the smell of summer

On the breeze, water vapour,

Unseen but heady

with scent

Of salt and weed.

The ocean, a special place,

horizon knows no end,

senses heightened.

Later we shall rest, when

enough water has passed my keel,

in a quiet bay and draw in

new smells; earth, trees, people,

grass and animals. All blessed

by Grace,

which is summer sun.
