Idealism.

Daily Prompt
City Planners
– If you could clone one element from another city you’ve visited — a building, a cultural institution, a common street food, etc. — and bring it back to your own hometown, what would it be?

Cities are no place for me, too many people, too much concrete, noise and traffic. To me, a city is somewhere to dip into for a short period, take in a museum or art gallery, see a show or visit a spectacular monument such as a cathedral. Then out! Shopping? Give me a break, please!

I am at home in raw nature, hills, mountains, lochs and seashores; unpolluted air, space and room to roam. To set foot on a remote piece of ground and know that quite possibly, no human foot has ever trodden there. Peace; a place for the mind to journey and create.

What would I bring to my local town? New York’s Central Park would suit, that should replace my entire town with something resembling nature. 🙂
